What happens to your drawings.
A floorplan is a document about a real building, often one somebody else owns. This is the short version of how we hold them. The privacy policy is the long one.
Where uploads live
Drawings you send are stored on the infrastructure StudiO runs on: hosting and storage providers who operate servers and storage on our instructions, and who are not permitted to use what is on them for their own purposes. Those providers may store or process information in countries other than yours, and where that happens we take steps to keep it protected to a standard consistent with the policy and with applicable law.
Traffic to this site and to the product is carried over transport encryption, and access to the systems holding uploads is controlled. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, which the policy states plainly and this page will not dress up.
Who can see them
The people at Olsyn working on your project, and the providers above where they need it to deliver the service. Where you came to us through an organisation, that organisation may have its own terms governing what it puts into the product.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use the drawings you upload to market to third parties.
How long they are kept
Uploaded drawings, and the models produced from them, are kept while your account or engagement is active. After that they are deleted or de-identified within a reasonable period, unless you have asked us to remove them earlier or the law requires us to keep them. Enquiries and correspondence are kept while we are dealing with them and for a reasonable period afterwards; server logs are kept for a limited period appropriate to security and troubleshooting.
Deletion on request
Ask and we will remove them. You can also ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask for it in a portable form, and the rights section of the privacy policy sets out the full list. The way to start any of those is the same: write to us.
The site itself
This marketing site sets the cookies it needs to function, such as the one that keeps a form submission secure. For analytics it uses a self-hosted, cookieless service that counts page views and referrers, alongside Microsoft Clarity for anonymised interaction data. Neither builds advertising profiles, and there are no advertising trackers on this site.
If you need something specific
Procurement questions, a retention window written into an engagement, or a restriction that comes from the building owner rather than from you: raise it before you upload anything and we will answer it in writing. Pricing works the same way, in that it is settled in the conversation rather than on a page.
